First of all a big apologies to Gladys and Les who I know
have been waiting for the next instalment of our blog. Well here we go. I can’t
believe that I wrote the last one in November. December started pretty much
like November. Mark was away again for much of the first two weeks of the month
and was very busy with grant writing. Which I am now glad to report it is all
over. Though work continues, he is right this moment reading journal articles
whilst listening to music very loudly in the living room (10pm). I am beginning
to think I need to take him in to the hearing department at work to demonstrate
to him what damage he can do to his hearing. Oh no I was wrong he has now
turned it down, I can think again. Sorry
rant over.
Now where was I? Oh yes, early December. Mark spent the
first week in Hobart for a conference. Here are some photos he took during his
trip.

I finished up with the Girl Guides for the year at an
end of year BBQ on 2nd December and I started a Pilate’s class to
fill the time. I love it so much that I have decided to continue it as well as
Guides come the beginning of the school year, in February. The weekend before our holiday we head to the
city park for Carols by candle light with Judy (my guiding friend), to try and
get ourselves into the Christmas mood.

It seems Claire has been suffering from a case of turnitdownitis - a strangely female-specific problem usually only seen in mothers of teenage boys.
