Bengio to Lake Cobbler

After a lovely egg and bacon breakfast with Fi and Katherine and stocking up on food and water, we hit the road to Bendigo. On route we visited a waterfall or two that had no water.

We arrived in Bengio to an empty campsite. So we set up camp for the first time on our camping trip.

After a hot but comfortable night, thanks to my sleeping bag liner my mother bought me for my Africa trip in 2001 and a good build in fly netting around the tent. We hit the road again towards Mount Buller.

Mount Buller is a ski village. It was a deserted and more like a ghost town when we visited. Our trip continued from here off road.

After two hours of off road driving along some very rough steep and challenging driving we arrived at the Lake Cobbler campsite.
