Our first visitors to South Zeal arrived for the long weekend in August and we had a very relaxed and enjoyable weekend exploring the moors and South Zeal. It was lovely to finally mean the beautiful lady that has won the heart of a very special friend.

We had the pleasure of spending some chilled out time with Kate and Theo. Reminiscing about times in South Australia together and re introducing Mark to Mountain Biking in the UK.

During our stay we had the pleasure of sharing a special time with Trisha and Ad. I do love a good surprise.

Mark managed to make it to a friends birthday celebrations and got to see a part of Spain.

Whilst Mark was in Spain I visited family and old friends in the North West and had a fantastic weekend.

Our trip also gave us an opportunity to make new friends. We met Emma in the local pub in South Zeal and Felicity and I are so grateful. We spent many lovely afternoons with Emma and Dibble on the Moors.

The sabbatical also gave me the opportunity to meet up with old school friends. I loved this so much.

A road trip north allowed me to meet up with some old family friends. The time we spent with Brenda and her family was very special to me.

The trip north also allowed us to catch up from more friends from South Australia, and Felicity and Wishie's meeting was adorable. The opportunity for a board game night was well over due.

The week was rounded off with birthday celebrations with Badger and Liz.

True friends are those who value the time you spend together what ever form it takes and not the time you spend apart.
Fun in the wood with Meg.
