Claire Bear’s advantages down under

For the last few weeks,  I have  found myself home alone, whilst the other half went jet setting around Europe, for work. I have to take this opportunity to thank all my Aussie friends for helping me get through the last few weeks. I couldn’t have done it without you. THANK YOU!!!!!

I have had a busy few weeks. I have taken the opportunity to get on top of the house work and the gardening. Thank you to Judy and all her help this weekend. I have finally been able to get on top of the gardening. I have even managed to get rid of a plant I couldn’t stand and I have replanted. Take a look what do you think?

The rubbish - after the big garden clean up -  I hope the council will take it all.

On Sunday I head down to Jon and Liz’s. We had a small bike ride from their house to Mclean Vale for lunch. Great day, followed by a good meal and a game or two of Rummikub.

During my stay Eleanor  even managed to take her first few steps. Monday is a public holiday over here for the Queen’s birthday, so after breakfast we headed to the beach to continue the walking training with Eleanor.

Now its time to sit and watch my favourite TV program and give in to the pain that is block sinuses. I was hoping that a relaxed weekend would result in a improvement, but I was wrong. The ear ache has begun and I can't taste anything. DOCTOR"s I think.
