Sorry it has been a while since I last wrote my blog.
Life has been going on as normal. Work is going well for both of us at the moment. Mark has recently completed a number of field trip around the Eyre Peninsula, Clare Valley and the Yorke Peninsula and in a few weeks he is off with Lynne (a worker colleague) to Christchurch (New Zealand) for a week.
Work is also going well for me at the moment, I am in the process of planning another trip to the Yorke Peninsula and tomorrow the microwave cooking class that I have helped set up with the Smithfield co-ordinator starts. Just hope it is a good susses, as I have put a lot of work into it to ensure that a clear session plan and activity analysis was ready.
The Girl Guides are now returned after the summer. Our first meeting was last week and it went really well. We have gone from 20 girls to 25 girls. We have a packed term planned with a canoe camp and climbing session planned, can’t wait. I have also been working hard on my Australian Guiders qualifications, so hope to get these done soon.
Our weekends continue to be full packed with advantage. Last weekend we went out for dinner and the pictures with Jon and Liz. The film was good (though it has gone from me what it was called) but the pictures are expensive in South Australia it appears, so I would not suggest it to any tourist. On Sunday we head down to Deep Creep Conservation Park and completed a 6 mile walk to Deep Creep cove, Beautiful.
This weekend we ended up at ‘The Fringe’ a comedy fair which comes to Adelaide every year. It was fantastic. We went to see ‘Sammy J and Randy on bin night’. The whole place was lit up with Christmas lights in the trees and all the stages looked like circus or fair tents. Don’t worry I will be going back to take some pictures at some point, as it roads for 3-4 weeks.
