Mark once again was away for most of September but this finally settled down in mid October and we have really enjoyed having him home since. The rest of September went by quietly and at the end Mark arrived home with a present for Felicity from Liz and Jon (which she loves) and just in time for me to concentrate on the annual Guide Dogs SA Life Skills Camp for young adults. Which was great fun. This year it was held in Semaphore right next to the beach and the young adults were aged 16-18 years of age. We concentrated on the skills they would need when transferring from school to adulthood. It was the most enjoyable camp I have had the pleasure of being involved in with the added bonus that I got to spend 3 days by the sea.

Late September early October marked a sad event for us in that our friends Miranda and Rhod moved back to the UK with their young son Aloysius. We hope that they are now settled in York and that we will be able to catch up with you in 2016.

At the end of October we attended the annual Halloween Fancy Dress Party held by Mark's boss. This year we went as the 3 bears.

In early November I was lucky enough to win some VIP tickets to the Adelaide Christmas Pageant (The biggest Christmas Pageant in the World I was told). I took with me Georgia and Jason's eldest two children and we had a ball.

In mid November I went on Guide Camp to GTS Dolphin and participated in a leader's kayak training and The Girl Guides SA Wet and Wild event. I had a fantastic weekend at the beach and got to Kayak with Dolphins. Whilst Mark and Felicity had a fun packed weekend of their own. Walk around a duck pond, breakfast out and a visit to the Airplane museum in Port Adelaide.

Coffee with Daddy

At the end of the month Felicity attended her first Girl Guide SA Eastern Plains District end of year BBQ and because she didn't have uniform like mummy she had to take her Girl Guide Teddy Bears and we had a Teddy Bear's Picnic.
Over the last few months we have also had a number of catch up's with our Mother and Baby group. With a number of birthday parties.

Other that what I've discussed above we have just been enjoying some well awaited family days together.

Felicity's child care have been exploring nature this term and every fortnight they get a new animal in their room. Felicity's favourite was the Turtle and she was very proud when Daddy took this photo and she could show Mummy when she got home. Months later she still asks to see this picture.

Tickle time with Daddy.

Look what I picked from the Toy Library. I'm not sure who was more happy when she picked this herself. Felicity or Daddy because he finally had someone who would play cricket.

Felicity's hiding hold at child care.

Guess what came to Adelaide and we went to see it

An afternoon at the Adelaide Hills Botantic gardens gives Felicity a chance to turn Mummy and Daddy into climbing frames.

And to finish this blog off I just wanted to show you Felicity wearing a dress that was made for me by my Granny.

A blog for December will follow shortly.
