My goodness I am so sorry about the gap in blogs. I have no idea where the time has gone since returning to work. Let me fill you in on our life down-under. I returned back to work on 4th February 3 days a week working in the children's vision team. I work Wednesday to Friday and on these days Felicity attends the nursery at Mark's workplace. If anyone fancies a phone call or a Skype, FaceTime or Google hangouts chat weekends, Monday and Tuesday are our best days for this reason.
Though Monday mornings Felicity and I go swimming and she graduated from her first class today, so we begin in our new class in July. Big thank you to Stella for the swimming costume.

Felicity is loving nursery and making some great little friends. She loves being out in their garden, playing in the sand pit and climbing anything she can find. Mark and Felicity cycle along the bike path, to work every Wednesday Thursday and Friday now that we have our own bike tracker. Mark says its very relaxing as Felicity likes to sing to the birds all the way there and back. Her little legs now jump up and down the closer you get to nursery which is a sign she is excited.
When Felicity sees this butterfly on the walk of Nursery her little legs go ten to the dozen.

My work is going well, I am having to adjust to working part time but loving it. I love the fact that I have part of my old life back and I still get to ride to work each day, but don't get me wrong I love coming home to Felicity and the fact that as soon as I work through the door she doesn't give me a chance to thing about what sort of day I've had.

Mark's work is keeping him very very busy and he is away a lot for the rest of this year. We hope that this will help in his career development and that after the big projects have finished he will be able cut back on the 14 hour days that are becoming very very common. My goal for this year is to help Mark work out a way that he can improve on his work life balance. Any suggestions would be welcome.

During the weekends as a family with enjoy nothing better than going out for breakfast, getting out on our bikes or going for a walk in the Aussie bush. Felicity loves walking as she gets the best seat in the house.

This walking is hard work

When mums away we learn about rugby and go walking

Felicity has been growing and is now standing/walking with furniture and her tuck. She also loves to climb everything and as a result we have already had a trip to the A&E department when she caught her foot under her ride on toy. After x-rays that showed nothing was broken we were sent home to rest. Right not sure the nurse really realised what a 16 month old child was like. The good news is that this little adventure of Felicity's hasn't stopped her and she continues to furniture walk.

Shortly after my return to work we had a visit from Bill and Sue Mark's parents for 3 weeks in April. It was great having some extra help around the house and baby sitters now and again. Mark and I were able to go away for the weekend and get a night out, which we were very grateful for. Thank you Bill and Sue.
