At 7pm Jason collected us and our bags and the trip home began. All in all I have to say that the flights were not so bad, apart from being a little cramped. Felicity's first flights went very well. She disliked the descends but that was to be expected. After 24 hours and a 2 hour lay over in Dubia we arrived tried and hungry at Manchester airport. To be welcomed by Gran and Grandpas and after some juggling of the car seat we soon found our selfs at Ashness Close with a very much needed cup of tea.
After a well deserved rest, well for some. It took Felicity at least 3 weeks to get her routine back. Which might I spent most of the first week and our Lake holiday getting up 2 to 4 times a night, which I have to say didn't help my ability to stay awake during the day. We got there in the end though.
I am unable to talk for the rest of my family but our first day in England my head was in a whirl and I was very tired. As Felicity had had me up 4 times thinking it was day time. Even so after breakfast on the first day we took Felicity to meet her Farrell relatives. It was fantastic to see everyone in person and introduce Felicity to them. Watching their watching their reactions to her, was the best bit of the day for me. Felicity is I have to say already missing everyone. Keeping her entertained during the day when Marks at work is getting more and more difficult.
Our first port of call was Gladys and Les

Then onto Brenda and Brian.

After a long lunch break it was onto Anne's

and finally Stella before heading home for tea.

After putting Felicity to bed Mark and I popped out for a pint with Paul. It was great to see Paul and it was nice to have a quieter drink without Felicity, thanks to Bill and Sue. Though I am not sure who was happiest to see their bed that night, me, Felicity or Mark.
