We hope this blog finds you all well. Following a busy July for Mark he was with us for most of August but he did have a couple a weeks away. One place he visited was Darwin and in 5 years this was the first time he visited the NT. Though he was there for a stats training course, he did have a chance to see some of the surrounding area because the NT had a public holiday on the Monday he was there.

Though Mark has been away a lot he has been at home for 3 weeks between his Darwin and his latest European trip, which he is on at the moment. With a week in Sweden and a week in Germany at a conference. As a result we have managed some great family time. During this time we even manage to take Felicity to the Petting Farm in the Adelaide Hills and the Royal Adelaide Show with free tickets we got for becoming citizens. We had a lovely day. Felicity enjoyed seeing all the animals but I think her favourite things were patting a cow and watching a sheep having a hair cut.

Felicity has also been very busy with learning to walk those learning to climb came first.

Taking a walk up the street

Saturday morning shopping with Daddy

Walking has been a big part of our family time and Felicity's map reading skills are coming along.

She is also beginning to explore the countryside and has been on two bush walks now.

We have also enjoyed a few trips to the beach. Though when at the beach I am not sure who's the child in the family.

Making a dam to ensure Felicity's castle has a water supply. My first experience of really seeing Mark in Occupational Flow that was not work related. It was so fantastic to see.

We also had another visit from Lucy in late August and it was a pleasure. Lucy and I even managed a girls night out which was fantastic.

At the beginning of September we enjoyed the Australian Father's day. In the morning we went for coffee with our Mother and Baby group. Felicity had a ball and rode her first bike and tractor.

Felicity and I then took Daddy for lunch at a wineary in Lang- Creek

And a walk at Middleton beach

We hope you've enjoyed our latest blog and we hope to see you again soon.
Time to put your shoes back on and get back to work.
