August and Early September 2015

Now before you start Felicity says it's time for a cuppa and to put your feet up.

We hope this blog finds you all well. Following a busy July for Mark he was with us for most of August but he did have a couple a weeks away. One place he visited was Darwin and in 5 years this was the first time he visited the NT. Though he was there for a stats training course, he did have a chance to see some of the surrounding area because the NT had a public holiday on the Monday he was there.

Though Mark has been away a lot he has been at home for 3 weeks between his Darwin and his latest European trip, which he is on at the moment. With a week in Sweden and a week in Germany at a conference.  As a result we have managed some great family time. During this time we even manage to take Felicity to the Petting Farm in the Adelaide Hills and the Royal Adelaide Show with free tickets we got for becoming citizens. We had a lovely day. Felicity enjoyed seeing all the animals but I think her favourite things were patting a cow and watching a sheep having a hair cut.

Felicity has also been very busy with learning to walk those learning to climb came first.

She is also beginning to explore the countryside and has been on two bush walks now.

We have also enjoyed a few trips to the beach. Though when at the beach I am not sure who's the child in the family.

Making a dam to ensure Felicity's castle has a water supply. My first experience of really seeing Mark in Occupational Flow that was not work related. It was so fantastic to see.

We also had another visit from Lucy in late August and it was a pleasure. Lucy and I even managed a girls night out which was fantastic.

June and July 2015

Life has been a little crazy down under recently. Mark has a mental traveling schedule for work which started in June and I hope to see the end of it in October and more of my husband. Though from the photographies he has been taking it looks like he's been having a good time and seeing some amazing places in Australia.

In Late June Felicity and I visited the airport twice in 24 hours. When on the Friday night we dropped Mark off for his work trip to Germany and then in the morning we collected my sister Lucy. When she landed in Australia for her year of a life time. So for the last 2 weeks in June and first 2 weeks of July whilst Mark was away Felicity and I got use to life with our new housemate Lucy. It was great spending time with her and showing her the sights of Adelaide and our life down under.

During Mark's trip to Europe  he spent the weekend with Ian but in true Mark style I have not photographic events to prove he was with Ian at all, but I do know he had a great time because on his return I heard nothing else about his trip expect his weekend with his brother. I'm glad they could have some time together. I hope Ian you enjoyed it as much as I know Mark did. I hope when Felicity and I come to visit you will also be able to show us some sights of Berlin out of your book.

In mid July Felicity and I said goodbye to Lucy as she began her travels around this amazing country. In just 2 weeks I know she's done Melbourne, Canberra, and Sydney. I hope she is enjoying every minute. I know I am very jealous of both Lucy and Mark being able to see so much of this country.

The end of July hasn't been the best end for Felicity and I as we were without a car for a week and Felicity developed conjunctivitis. She is all better now and we hope August will be a good month to us.

After spending a short fantastic weekend with Mark this week. He begins the month in Darwin. Felicity and I on the other hand start it with a bit of shopping and a hope that everything goes well this week.
